About RPage.net
RPage.net is the final idea for a network out of the many that has come before. The origonal idea was to expand an existing website
from a single theme into a giant multi-themed/topic site. This however didn't work out too well with the current hosting and
content available. From a coding and graphical stand point it could be done, but the time allowed would not allow this to happen.
Doing this origonal theme idea, it would limit the type of content that would be on the website, which wasn't the main goal.
What was then done, was an idea of flexablility between what would be published. After about 4 layout ideas and expanding/improving,
a final layout and name was decided, and RPage.net was born.
Why?
So why did RPage.net become what it is today? This is a good question. RPage.net is just a project for someone with too much time on his
hands. It's not meant to be revolutionary or anything, or for it to have perfect spelling and grammer everywhere, it's here with different things
I like, and it's always going to be that way unless an absurd ammounts of people think otherwise and drive my bandwidth through the roof...
About the Owner
Adapting the the web at a young age of 11 or 12, on AOL of all things, I have begun to develop websites around things that interest me.
Of course these websites sucked, being with AOL. The started to go to geocities for building. Did their basic editor and made a craptastic website.
Little while later, used their advanced editor and self taught myself html. I then moved on to angelcities, brinkster, then hostaffect.
I got into different php scripts and things starting with Fusion News, and then moving onto LifeType as well as some random codes here and there.
I've run into some bad luck with people hacking my pages a while back, and found my php code to be a little insecure, but that was taken care of.
About when i was 14 or 15, i got into video editing and the whole Anime Music Video creation. Was quite fun, and worked quite well, got me some nice
video editing skills which also prepared me for Graphic design. I started with Quicktime for video editing, then moved to adobe premiere, and then
finally moved to "Vegas Video", which is what i still use today. Microsoft bought them out or someone did, and it hasn't been as good as before, but
i still have my old copy.
When i was around 16 or so, i got into the whole photoshop thing, started on photoshop 5, moved to 6, and now i'm on 7. I haven't had a desire to
move to photoshop CS or CS2 yet, but might in the future. Started mimicing websites, and even now do website design as a side job, and for this site.
I will make people websites for this network if you request a good idea, you might get in the list.
Currently i'm employed in a Computer Tech job in my small town, going from house to house, fixing problems. Been doing it for about 2 years with this
company, but have been fixing computers for a few years before, especially my own. I did sports in High School, I did Water Polo year round. By my
Senior year, i was MVP all conference, and i ALWAYS played GOALIE. Only goalie in the state to get an MVP in any conference, and i could back it up!
I don't believe there is much else to say, but if you wish to contact me, click the link below to get to the contact page.
